Sakura
The design of the table costists of two angular shapes in contrasting colors. Two support surfaces are designed to have as much useful surface area as possible, creating a combination of two contrasting materials: light and dark, polished and sandblasted.
The shape of the coffee table is based on the canons of Japanese aesthetics: simplicity, assymetry, tranquility, freedom from routine.
Materials: Cherry crystal + Nero Assoluto granite

sekitei | coffee table
origami collection

Sekitei
While designing the SEKITEI coffee table, Yulia Pyanzina was inspired by Japanese traditional Rock Gardening admiring its symbolism and philosophy. Rocks are rarely if ever placed in straight lines or in symmetrical patterns.
From whatever point the viewer looks at the composition, he sees a different picture every time. Sometimes, however, it seems that the 5 stones, due to their irregular shape, are perceived as one whole. The symmetry and logic of the composition can only be observed by soaring in the air and looking at it from above.
The material we chose with Marmi Regina represents a metaphorical journey on the river of life.
The design of the SEKITEI coffee table has the value of reproducing a natural beauty that one can find in the real or mythical world.
Material: Jungle Green Marble

Zen
One of the peculiarities of the project is the material – Brazilian natural stone – AMETHYST CRYSTAL – very resistant and tough material (only 1 cm of thickness) that conveys a sense of depth and a warm welcome, with simplicity and sophistication being the concepts to keep in mind.
Designing this piece Yulia Pyanzina was focusing on Zen Buddhism, in particular on Zen aesthetic principles identified by:
- simplicity
- asymmetry
- austere sublimity
- naturalness
- freedom from routine
- tranquillity
- profound grace
Materials: Brazilian natural stone, Amethyst Crystal

vice versa
dining table

Vice Versa
The design of the table constists of two crossed arches and ellipse-shaped table top. All the pieces are studied to be easy for transportation and assembly creating a perfect flat-pack.
The choice of the arch-shaped legs, the latin name and the travertino romano as a protagonist refer to antique Roman artistic culture famous of its logic, symmetry and functionality.
To accompany the dining table we designed also the coffee tables collection that follows the same aesthethics.
Materials: Travertino Romano Classico

particle trail
dining table

Particle Trail
The research project proposed by the University of Auckland team is a furniture element generated from a conceptual design created using Unity Particle System Trails. It represents a fusion of the organic with the technology of a real-time 3D digital development platform, expressed in travertine, a building material with classical antecedents.
At the heart of the project, presented at Marmomac 2023, is a question and exploration. Can the inner structure of bone – which provides critical support and strength to the human skeleton – be transposed and transformed into an architectural element? Conceived as an assembly of 3D-printed components, the goal of ‘Particle-Trail’ is to exploit new technologies of subtractive manufacturing to design and fabricate furniture that can be built in natural stone, re-using any manufacturing waste generated in subsequent projects, for a more circular approach.

Amigdala
The jars of the ‘Amigdala’ series, designed by Italian sculptor Matteo Cavaioni and produced by MARMI REGINA, pay homage to the prehistoric flints found in the Verona area.
These pieces are not only guided by an aesthetic inspiration, but also by the need to fully exploit the intrinsic qualities of the material and to maximise the use of processing waste.

CONNECTION
designer collection
An exciting project called “connection,” involving six established designers in the creation of a collection of marble home accessories. The central theme of the project is “connection.” The designers were invited to create objects that explore the concept of connection in its various facets. Connection can be interpreted in various ways, for example as: the union of different materials (marble, onyx, granite), the combination of different shapes and textures, the creation of objects that encourage interaction and socialization, and the celebration of the bonds between people and their environment.
oto

OTO is a fruit bowl with an unusual and original shape that aims to give a strong expressive value to a material such as stone. This normally evokes a sense of staticity and immutability, which instead becomes movement and plasticity through a sinuous shape that pushes the material beyond its limits, showcasing the craftsmanship skills. many references can be associated with this object: the number 8, the symbol of infinity, but also a race track.
Materials: Verias Green
Designer: Cristian Visentin
dune

Dune was born from the dialogue between solids and voids, through the art of ‘subtraction.’ Its sinuous shapes and smooth surfaces evoke geological stratifications over time.
The contrast between the nero marquina marble and calacatta symbolizes the harmonious balance between opposites. Dune lends itself to multiple compositions: when stacked, it has the dimensions of a classic fruit bowl, and when placed side by side, it is ideal for pairing cheeses with jams and dried fruits.
Materials: Nero Marquina, Calacatta

aquis, liquid stone

Onyx has a peculiar characteristic: it is translucent and the thinner it becomes, the more transparent it is. thus was born the idea of using onyx as if it were a liquid: pairing onyx with a marble, starting from a certain thickness and reaching zero. The visual effect is similar to that of a beach seen from above: offshore the sea is a deep blue colour and becomes lighter and lighter as it gets closer to the shore, until it becomes transparent.
Materials: Calacatta, Green Onyx
Designer: Diego Vencato
voluta

VOLUTA – from the latin “volutus,” meaning to roll or flow, which aligns with the sinuous, ribbon-like form of the design, is a modular marble bottle holder, a marriage of form and function that evokes the fluid grace of nature’s most delicate forms. inspired by the soft curves of flower petals and the elegant flow of a silk ribbon, the design speaks to both lightness and femininity. The piece is designed for versatility. when paired with another of its kind in a contrasting marble, the pieces come together in a harmonious interplay of color and texture, creating a striking visual dialogue between materials. whether displayed alone or in combination, the sculptural silhouette is both a functional accessory and a work of art.
Materials: Calacatta Gold, Nero Portoro

saturno

The circular shape of the lamp recalls the elegance of saturn’s rings, creating a unique and refined visual impact. the presence of the tray, which also serves as a support for the opening, makes the lamp an element of conviviality placed on a table in the small and medium version, or at the side of a sofa in the big version. Equipped with a low-energy led lighting system, saturno offers adjustable light, remotely manageable, perfect for creating personalized atmospheres in any environment. Marble and onyx blend in a perfect union, making saturno not only a source of light, but a true work of art.
